The Lions Club of Glamorgan was formed 30 years ago, continuing as a servicing club ever since. The club is proud to retain and involve two of it's founding members.
They are a charitable organisation working only for the benefit of the community. They have been successful in raising and donating a great deal of money to local organisations i.e. May Shaw Nursing Centre, Glamorgan Ambulance Service, Swansea SES, local coastguard and individual bursaries to students at Swansea Primary School. There has also been money donated to worthy families from the community, those amounts given freely in needy causes i.e. health crisis.
The clubs current main fundraiser is the bagging and sale of sheep manure. They also raise funds at their stall at the annual Cranbrook Craft Fair which is held in December raffling hams for Christmas. The club also runs the annual Christmas parade.

Meeting Schedule
Meetings are held at the Swansea Golf Club Franklin Street at 7:30pm on the 2nd and 4th friday of each month from february to november. |
