the WTPA, through fund raising, grants and Council financing, is develping facilities for the local community and visiting tourists -
* to provide more services [ie rooms for weekly Doctor and Medical specialist visits]
* to enhance the township [ street scape & gardens]
* to upgrade facilities such as walking tracks, lookouts etc
* a facility to celebrate the local history [ museum, oral history]
* working with local businesses & Tourism Officers to promote the area and its attractions.
* liaising with the Kentish Council for the local community
* representing Wilmot on local Council initiated Shire groups eg Kentish Youth Services, Tourist Groups, Health services Group etc.
