Autonomous, non-profit organisation which provides encouragement and mutual support to all parents alone for any reason. They may be divorced, deserted, separated, single or widowed - with or without custody. Dance with tape music held at Heather Hall Newstead each Thursdays, 7.30pm to 10.30 pm. We are a group that does not encourage children at our functions as most members are older from 50 upwards. A parent with a child is not turned away but is not encouraged. We hold a dance each Thursday evening at the above address cost is $3.00 each includes tea or coffee and busicuits, usual attendance is 40 to 50 men and women, Nu vogue and old time dancing from 7.30 pm to 10.30 pm.
