Environment / Burnie Field Naturalists

http://www.burniefieldnats.com/
We are amateur field naturalists who like to explore Tasmania's landscape, flora and fauna. Club members come from all walks of life and all age groups.

Our programme is advertised in The Advocate under News of The North West, Burnie.

The Club has a major excursion, usually on the second Sunday of each month.

Long weekends away are held in more distant locations, where members may stay in inexpensive basic accommodation,or may camp.

Some mid-week walks are also planned.

A meeting with a visiting expert on Natural History is held on the third Friday of each month, in the Burnie Adult Education Centre at 7.30pm.

A Social group meets on a Thursday once a month, for lunch in varied venues.

Non-members are welcome to attend any of these functions.

For more information contact the Secretary.
