Education & Training / Burnie School for Seniors


Burnie School for Seniors commenced in September1988, and has met at least twice weekly since then.

It is an Autonomous group with no ties to Adult Education or Universities. We are a group of people who join together as friends to share our knowledge and experience, to discuss and debate without rancour, Literature, World Affairs, or the views of visiting speakers, or our own members.
No Homework
No Exams
No demands, just keep those grey cells ticking over.

We meet at the McKenna Park Hockey Centre in Burnie, on Tuesdays and Wednesdays,10am -12.30pm.

The cost is $10 a term.
