Local History / Wilmot Museum and Information Centre


The Wilmot Museum and Information Centre has a huge range of artifacts, memorabila, tools, photos and family history. For such a small centre the range is unbelievable, if tracing family history this is a first stop, they also have a folder listing all the plots and people buried at our local cemetary.
Please call in a see for yourselves the range of history it not only covers the town and surounding areas it also has information on Daisy Dell, Moina and Cethans mining towns as far back as Cradle Mountain.
There is a room that is dedicated to early schooling along with desks and chairs, students work and pictures the range is wide and diverse.
Perhaps you have a school report or story to tell please drop in a have a chat with Wendy Charleston or George Richards.
