The branch was formed at a meeting held at the Neptune Hotel in July 1959, attended by 16 interested anglers.
Our main objective is to keep fishing in our municipality as best we can.
We release around 4,500 fingerlings each year from the Motton hatchery into farm dams made available by the owners.
We have a trophy and dinner at the end of the season. We also have a social club which organises trips to certain fishing spots and arranges Christmas dinner.
