Community Service / Breast Cancer and Lymphoedema Support Group (encompassing Devonport and regional areas)


Our group provides a warm, accepting environment and the opportunity to meet others experiencing their own breast cancer journey and/or those experiencing lymphoedema. Come join us! Support group members are asked to respect the privacy of others and to keep confidential any personal information that may be discussed within the group.Discussion topics include: lymphoedema management, exercise, nutrition and diet, relaxation techniques, surgical procedures, raising awareness in the community, troubleshooting treatment side effects, journalling and information resources. Attendees have the opportunity to share their journey and experiences with the group.

Meeting Schedule
Meetings are held between 12.30 - 2.30pm, in the Community and Health Services Centre, Steele Street, Devonport, on the last Thursday of every second month commencing in January each year.In May & November we meet for lunch in a local restaurant.

Membership open to
Persons experiencing their own breast cancer journey and/or those experiencing lymphoedema. Come join us!
