We are a musically-talented group of people who enjoy playing brass or percussion instruments. All new players are welcome to join – beginners or experienced, young or old. One-to-one tutoring, instruments and uniform are provided by the band.
The band plays at local community celebrations, e.g. Australia Day, ANZAC Day march, Taste the Harvest, Devonport Christmas Parade, and at many other functions, e.g. Church and School fairs, Devonport Jazz Festival, Devonport Eisteddfod.
The band and various solo players enter in state and national Brass Band competitions, and prior to Christmas the band plays carols throughout Devonport for fundraising.
Invitations to play at any function will be considered, and hiring of the Bandroom is also available.
