We are a State Body, affiliated with the National Body who in turn is affiliated with the World Union of Catholic Women's Organisations(WUCWO) which has consultative status on five Councils of the United Nations; is recognised by the Holy See and maintains relations with seven Vatican departments.

Our structure is Parish Branch, Diocesan Branch, State Council, National Council. The North/West area consists of three Branches, Devonport, Ulverstone and Circular Head.
