The Devonport Online Access Centre is part of the Tasmanian Communities Online network. The Centre is a community managed facility with 10 modern computers including CD writers, a colour laser printer and 4 scanners for community use.
The Devonport Centre was opened in May 1998 and now has over 6,000 registered members.
We offer 1 to 1 assistance to community members who would like to learn about computers and the internet.
We have a highly skilled volunteer team who assist staff to provide varied training sessions to cater for a range of ages and interest groups througout the community.
Courses range from PC Club for school aged children to introductory courses for Seniors. We also offer Basic Computer Training, Certificate II in Information Technology and other short computer training courses on demand.
Drop in to see us, we are in the Devonport Library Building in Oldaker Street - new members welcome.
