The West Tamar Camera Club conducts a program of regular meetings and outings that caters to people who enjoy photography and would like to learn more about this popular art form.We hold regular meetings and have a monthly competition that includes film based and digital media with judges comments on how images could possibly be improved.
A number of outings to places of interest give members the opportunity to use their skills and some more experienced members are available to assist anyone who would like some help.
The club is affiliated with the Tasmanian Photographic Federation. This gives members access to competition in national and international exhibitions if they wish.
We maintain a relaxed and friendly atmosphere to ensure that participation is a pleasure to all and we welcome guests who would like to attend our meetings to see if they would be comfortable in our midst.
