Maranoa Heights Community Centre is a member of the Tasmanian Association of Community Houses. It is one of 34 houses within Tasmaina. It is primarily set up to support individuals and groups within the community and respond to need.
The Centre provides:
-Retraining programs for those wishing to return to the work-f orce
- Training programs for those wishing to enter the work-force
- Classes for personal development
- Back up child care for day-time classes
- Occasional child care (Friday mornings)
- walking groups
- Tai Chi
- Craft & Social Groups
- Meeting rooms
-Choir
- Support to process No Intrest Loans through the NILS scheme
-Support to individuals and Groups

Meeting Schedule
The Centre is open 9am - 3pm Monday to Thursday and 9am - 1pm Friday.
The Family Support Service is available 9am-5pm Monday, Tuesday and Thursday ph 6229-4602.
The Centre is open every week but not on Public Holidays.It also provides some holiday activities. Contact the Centre for details. |
