Arts & Leisure / Southern Voices (formerly known as the Kingston Singers)


Southern Voices (formerly the Kingston Singers), formed in 2000 and has approximately 35 voices who enjoy singing together. Repertoire includes modern arrangements of spirituals & uplifting works, songs from musicals. etc.
Concerts are performed in Kingston and the Palais Theatre at Franklin every June/July and December and the choir has toured to other parts of the State.

New members welcome, especially tenors, after brief audition.

Can't read music? Don't worry, we will help you.

Singing lines taped for non-music readers, so everyone can enjoy.

Membership open to
Any adults, whether experienced or non-singers, from 16 yrs upwards.
Audition before beginning and 4 weeks after joining to keep the quality high.
