Community Service / Hadspen Neighbourhood Watch

Welcome.
N.H.W. is a body of people interested in crime prevention. There are branches or "watches" throughout Tasmania. We liaise closely with police and local government. Anyone over the age of 18 is eligible to apply for membership but must pass a police check.

Neighbourhood Watch (NHW) is a community based crime prevention program. It's main aim is to minimise the incidence of preventable crime, especially burglary and motor vehicle theft within defined areas.
NHW is also about being involved in community events, activities and diverse issues of importance to that community, for example (street lighting, foot paths and roads, parks, bike tracks and schools).
NHW operates throughout Tasmania within local communities affected by crime and where there is also a desire to introduce the program. It ensures maximum protection and assistance in the fight against crime.

Hadspen Neighbourhood Watch, closly Liaise with police to help minimise crime in our area.
With your assistance we could solve offences more quickly.
The more members we have the more effective we could be.
So please consider joining.
