The Mountain Huts Preservation Society promotes enjoyment of national parks, native reserves and natural bushland of Tasmania by walkers, horsemen, fishermen and others. The Society also assists the Department of Parks, Wildlife & Heritage in the management & maintenance of huts in the Tasmanian high country.
