The Northern Adult Riding Club was established in 1991 to provide the opportunity for adults to improve their equestrian skills by way of instruction days, trail rides and clinics. Rallies are held on the last Sunday of each month at Westbury, with theory, flatwork and jumping lessons taken by qualified instructors. All levels of riding are catered for. An AS3838 (or better) approved helmet and proper riding boots are required. A fee is charged to cover the cost of the instructors. An annual navigation ride and annual gymkhana are also held, along with other activities as suggested by members.
