http://www.cwltas.kingston.org.au
Catholic Women's League Tasmania Incorporated originated in northern Tasmania in 1941. Its history was well documented in a book , entitled "Women of Faith and Action" written by Mrs. Anne Rushton Nuss. This book records the pioneering spirit of its members and their active participation in education, ecumenism, spiritual development, political events, defence of the family, handcraft, community issues, international awareness, etc.

Catholic Women's League in Tasmania has always operated under the patronage and spiritual guidancne of its pastoral leader - the Archbishop of Tasmania and its State Chaplains.

In Tasmania there are approximately 283 members in 17 branches which meet monthly. These are grouped in three regions - North, North/West and South.
