Community Service / Derby Volunteer Fire Brigade


The brigade meets once a month during winter for training nights and general meetings. Over the warmer summer months, meetings and training nights are held each fortnight.

Meeting Schedule
Every month from May through to October, meetings are held on Tuesday night at 7.00pm. During October through to April, training is every fortnight on Tuesdays. Usually an earlier start with 6.00pm during this period.

Membership open to
All residents and interested persons. We also have a Junior Volunteer Fire Brigade whom attend and train at ordinary meetings with rest of Brigade members. All applicants for Derby Volunteer Fire Brigade must pass a police check and medical examination and assessment on application of membership.

Area Served
Derby and immediate surrounding local area. Can be called to assist other local brigades in their fire fighting incidents.
