Community Service / Community Volunteer Service

Would you like to volunteer in your community?

Would you like to learn new skills whilst volunteering?

Would you like to meet people?

Do you have a skill that may help community organizations?

Are you a not for profit community organization who is in need of volunteer assistance?

The Community Volunteer Service is a not for profit organization which can match up volunteers and community not for profit organizations needing volunteer help.

If you are a volunteer, the Community Volunteer Service will be able to match you up with a position that will suit you, working the hours that you have available.

Come and meet new people by being involved with community groups, learn new skills, and find out what your community can offer you, and what you can do for your community.

Jenny can also help you to fulfill mutual obligation requirements with community organizations. Or perhaps you have just moved to the area and would like to help the community.

Volunteering is very rewarding and volunteers are highly respected in our community as without them, many of our services would struggle to continue. The Community Volunteer Service is a good place to start for anyone who wishes to become a volunteer.

Alternatively, if you are a community not for profit organization looking for volunteers, Jenny can help to match up volunteers with your service by your registration with the Community Volunteer Service.

Jenny Singline is the Community Volunteer Service Coordinator at St Helens Neighbourhood House, and this service is open Mondays 8.30 – 4.30pm, and Tuesdays 8.30 am – 3.30 pm. You can phone Jenny to register your interest on
6376 2757.
