Community Service / St Helens Neighbourhood House Op Shop

The Op Shop is happy to receive any clothing donations, however we ask that they are clean and of good quality. You can purchase items for an extremely low cost, and any surplus items go into the City Mission who then transfer them to missions overseas who are in need. We are staffed by a dedicated and valued team of volunteers who give their time in order to help our community. 50% of profit from the Op Shop goes towards funding Neighbourhood House and 50% of profit goes towards fulfilling community organisations wish lists. To date the Op Shop has helped many organisations such as Medea Park, St Helens District Hospital, Community Car, Royal Flying Doctors Service, Toy Library, Children's Special Care Fund, Break O'Day Fm and lots more. Why not come and browse amongst our quality items, spend a dollar or two and help our community! If you are in need of furniture or household items you can phone Thom Ryan from Anglicare on 6376 1810. If you have any household items or furniture to donate, you can also phone Thom to arrange for collection.
