A Traditional small country show with showjumping, dressage, miniature ponies, painted horses, full rodeo and woodchopping programs, campdrafting, trial sheep dogs, working yard dogs,
home industries.
The Central Highlands Poetry Competition is organised and run in conjunction with the Show Committee with the winners announced at the show. Phil Rush, renowned poet and ABC country hour presenter, reads the winning poems and presents prizes.
The Derwent Valley Innkeepers Regional Wine Show is also run in conjunction with the show, with prizes being awarded on showday. Vineyards within the Derwent River region are allowed to enter.
