Community based junior soccer club based in Bagdad, Tasmania. There are 5 teams currently playing in under7 age groups to under 12 teams. This year there will also be an all girls team playing.
Currently there are 50 players with 45% of the teams girls.
In 2002 the under 11 team won the knock out cup, there are 7 girls and 8 boys in this team. The photo of this team can be viewed by clicking on the picture in the top right hand corner of the home page.
We had 2 under 7 teams, an under 8 under9 and under 11 team.
All teams did well with 1 under 7 team undefeated for the season.
14 players made the Northern Suburbs Regional teams, 7 girls and 7 boys.
Bagdad is growing from strength to strength and are a force to be reckoned with.
