Local History / New Norfolk Historical Information Centre


The New Norfolk Historical Information Centre is a Committee managing the history of the Derwent Valley. All Members are volunteers and are preserving our local history with the help of modern technology, digital photography, scanners etc.
The New Norfolk Historical Information Centre is funded by the Derwent Valley Council and is supported by the State Library of Tasmania.

The centre is open to the public between 2 and 4pm on the last Saturday of each month.

Membership open to
Residents of the Derwent Valley interested in the history of the region and who are willing to volunteer their services at the centre.
