Sport/Recreation / Kingborough Bowls Club Inc


We have 3 teams in Mens Saturday pennant: Division 2 reserve and 2 Division 5 teams; 2 Midweek pennant teams - Division 3 and Division 4. Our Division 2 Reserve won the STBA (Sthn Tasmanian Bowls Assn) and State Pennants, and Division 5 Blue won a pennant.

We have 2 Womens pennant teams, Division 1 and Division 5 (after winning the Division 6 final). Four of our ladies are Tasmanian B Grade Fours champions.

Ladies are equal members and Membership fees are $130. First year bowlers and special members pay half that amount. Social membership is $5.

Our social events include cards at 7.30 pm Thursday and Bingo at 7.30 pm Tuesdays. During the winter we have a darts team.
New and social members are always welcome.

The club also hires out its facilities and we cater for weddings, parties, dinners etc., (please contact the club for more details).

August 12 we are having the last soup and sandwich lunch for the winter in the clubhouse at noon. Members of the public invited.
