Community Service / Chronic Fatigue Syndrome Support Group of Kingborough (ME-CFS)

The ME-CFS Society of Tasmania is operating in association with ME-CFS Society of Victoria (Australia) . The Kingborough Support Group will be operating fortnightly, commencing on Tuesday 25th March, 2003 from 12:30 to 2:30pm in the social area of the Kingborough Family Church facility, 11 Glory Place Huntingfield (follow the church signage, first right after Mitre 10). Refreshments will be provided.

The main aim for the group is to provide a support network for sufferers of this illness. Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (ME) commonly known as Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS) is more common than one may imagine. The common feeling of sufferers is that a lack of understanding and support can make it even more difficult to come to terms with, and accept, this "mystery" illness.

There will be general discussion and periodically there will be helpful videos and guest speakers.

For futher information, please contact Mark on 6267 9176, or email the Tasmanian ME-CFS Society Director.
