Going ON HOLIDAY?

Going off on holiday makes cars belonging to holidaymakers particularly vulnerable to being stolen. Here are a few tips to prevent car theft:-

#Install an effective anti-theft device such as a car immobiliser, steering lock or alarm system.

#Always close all car windows and lock all doors before leaving your car unattended.

#Don't leave valuable items visible in your car that may entice a potential thief eg. mobile phone.

So, think smart, protect your car and belongings and have a good holiday!

What to do if your car is stolen: -

#Report it to the police immediately.

#Give police the registration number, make, model and colour of the vehicle and the details of the disappearance.

#Notify your insurance company urgently, so carry the number with you at all times!

ENGRAVER

The Margate Neighbourhood Watch has an engraver and or invisible UV reflecting pen available for marking your possessions.
