The Tasman Green Corps project for 2003 unfortunately came to an end in early November. After 6 months of hard work and training the team of Adam Risley, Mark Payne, Emma Stacey, Ben Wildman, Matt Parnell, Justin Taylor and Kevin Whalen graduated in their TAFE certified Land & Conservation Management Certificate. They were presented with these Certificates by Senator Paul Calvert at a ceremony at Eaglehawk Neck. Mark Payne did a great job as MC and Ben Wildman summed up the many projects the team tackled. Pete Griffiths their team leader gave an humorous and inspiring description of his time with these young people. Many thanks were made to the community and Tasman Council staff that supported the project but the biggest thanks and congratulations must go to the team for their persistence, steady work, fresh ideas and willingness to learn. Remember when tackling the turbulent current in this journey of life "Strap In, Not Up"...........a quote from the final day!
