Hobart Gymnastics Academy (HGA) is a not-for-profit community based sporting club, owned and operated by its members since December 1993. The club is an incorporated body and is run by a volunteer Management Committee.
The basic philosophy of the Academy is that all gymnasts should enjoy their gymnastics and be allowed to achieve to the fullest of their potential without being promoted beyond their level of ability. This philosophy has been the underlying basis for our very successful programs and has been partly responsible for the competitive success that the Academy enjoys.
As a family oriented club, we provide gymnastics classes for all ages, from children of 2 years through to adults. We offer both recreational gymnastics classes as well as competitive programs. Our recreational classes include Educational Gymnastics, Cheerleading, Circus skills, Toddler gym, and Trampolining. Competitive programs cover Men’s and Women’s Artistic Gymnastics (MAG & WAG), Rhythmic gymnastics (RG) and Trampolining(TRP).
We are also actively involved in the Active After School Communities Program; and offer classes/programs for school groups, clubs and other groups.
