The centre also facilitates a variety of community projects and volunteer programmes. These include Eating with Friends in Clarence Plains, ARTSMART, and 'Clarence Plains Talking'. A range of activities are advertised in a newsletter available at the beginning of every school term. Activities include crafts, lifeskills, community participation projects, self help programmes, bus trips (eg. Op shopping) and information sessions.
The local child Health Nurse can be visited at the Centre every Wednesday morning. The local Family support Worker can also be contacted at the Centre. Back-up child care is available for most centre-based activities.
Hours: Monday to Wednesday 8.30am-3pm. Thursday and Friday 9am-2pm
Free tax help available July-October each year.
