The Edith Creek Rural Fire Brigade was opened on 17th November1984 by. Hon.F.Roger Groom M.H.A.
Training is held on the 1st Monday of each month at 7:30.p.m. at the fire shed. The Brigade is actively manned by 10 - 12 local volunteers. Occupational Health and Safety, Off Road Driving, Basic Life Support, Radio, Basic Chainsaw Safety, are just some of the certificate courses which have already been attained by some of the volunteers.
