Community Overview
Ravenswood has a population of approximately 5000, with (according to the latest census) the highest percentage of 12 – 25 years olds in Launceston. Area wise it is the largest suburb in the Greater Launceston area. The suburb has a large broad acre housing estate. Ravenswood has two small shopping centres, two hotels/clubs, a library, primary school and a special school.
