Our school consists of two multi-grade classes nestled into the slopes of Cobbs Hill, Bridgewater and overlooking the beautiful Derwent Valley.
We're a hands-on, parent-involved school - with lots of things happening. And the learning doesn't stop when lessons end. Every lunchtime the children make things, experiment, play, care for the garden, paint the boat, improve the grounds. The kids are committed because they know this is their school.
Pirate's treasure boxes, electromagnets, tunnels and mazes - we've made them all.
The learning programme is geared to the individual with lots of assistance from parents and special education professionals.
The bus is a classroom on wheels. We are off the property a lot, including a once-a-fortnight mystery tour for Years 3 - 6.
The camps we go on have a mission basis. While we're there we achieve something that helps to pay our way.
That's real learning - and fun!
