Narawntapu National Park stretches from the low coastal ranges to the long Bass Strait beaches.You will be able to view an historic farm, small islands,dunes, lagoons and a variety of plants and animals.
Pick up a brochure with the history over the last thirty thousand years, walks, camping, horse riding, water activities information and park fees from the Rangers Hut.
Things to do are the short or long nature walks and view native plants. Swimming at Bakers Beach and Badger Beach. Water skiing at a reserved section at Springlawn Beach from 1st November - 30th April, no swimming allowed here.
Come and see the native animals -marsupials, forester kangaroos, wallabies, pademelons and wombats.
Bird life - green rosellas, black cockatoos, robins, yellow wattle birds, honyeaters, wrens, fantails, golden whistlers and many more.
For day visitors there is picnic, firplaces and toilet facilities. These are found at Springlawn, Griffiths Point, Bakers Point and Badger Head. During fire restrictions visitors are encouraged to use a portable stove or use electric BBQ's at Springlawn.
Camping is allowed at Springlawn, the horse yards, Bakers Point, Griffiths Point. Most campsites have tables,fireplaces and pit toilets.
