Approximately 8,000 Tasmanians registered as patrons of the 64 Centres in the past 12 months to make a total of 60,000 since the first centre opened in May 1998.

Slightly more females (51%) than males (49%) used Online Access Centres |

Over 7,500 Tasmanians had attended basic computer skills training courses conducted at Online Access Centres in the past 12 months. |

Over 40,000 Tasmanians (almost 9% of the State's total population) had attended a basic IT skills training course at an Online Access Centre in the six years the Centres have been operating. |

Almost 500 volunteers assisted with the day-to-day operations of Online Access Centres. In the past six months they have contributed over 300 person working days. |

Over 440 people are members of the voluntary Centre Boards of Management or Advisory Committees |

345,000 Tasmanians living outside the Hobart / Glenorchy / Clarence metropolitan areas had easy access to an Online Access Centre located in their community. This represents about 75% of all Tasmanians. |
